Flexibility:  Telework - Succeeding

Teleworkers, do not want "out of sight" to become "out of mind."

As a Teleworker you should:
maintain good relationships with your manager and co-workers
make the effort to stay as "visible" as you would be in the office
proactively seek out opportunities for development

As a Manager should:
continue to give teleworkers "stretch" assignments
provide teleworkers the same level of recognition as you provide employees who work on site full time
coach employees about their job performance and opportunities regardless of where they work

Other factors that can lead to telework success follow.  Click on any item for detailed advice on that topic.
